HUMN 1150 - Introduction to Culture and Gender Studies

his interdisciplinary course introduces students to the study of culture and gender. Culture and gender pervade our everyday lives and shape our realities in profound ways. Politics, history, science, the arts media, education, and human development shape and are shaped by culture and gender. This course provides a framework for ongoing study in the area and is required for students who intend to pursue an AA in General Studies with a concentration in Culture and Gender Studies.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 109 .
