ALTF 261L - Advanced Algae Cultivation Laboratory

The application of skills obtained in ALTF 161L to scale up algae production from 10-liter photobioreactors to large scale (1000 - 10,000 liter) algae production systems. Hands-on practice in advanced analytical methods and culturing techniques including protein, carbohydrate, lipid and pigment analysis, along with data collection, record keeping, and lab safety.
Prerequisite(s): ALTF 161L and ALTF 261 .
