Students will learn basic skills in web content management system, WordPress. They also learn best practices in current web design trends and technologies and are positioned for entry-level careers in communication and social media, and/or for professionals interested in expanding their web presence. Certificate eligible for Financial Aid.

Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
• Develop teamwork, collaboration, and professionalism.
• Respond to a diverse range of situations and texts with appropriate written, oral, visual, and other forms of communication using a variety of media.
• Utilize design processes and workflow strategies from concept to delivery
• Create media that address audiences and recognizes the human factors that inform creative decisions.
• Apply industry tools and technology in the creation, reproduction, and distribution of media.
