Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the various functions and the value of Human Resources in today’s organizations
- Identify compensation practices and considerations to attract, motivate, and retain employees
- Describe techniques and methodologies for attracting, developing, and strategically deploying employees to achieve organizational goals
- Express a basic understanding of fundamental concepts and terminology of business including areas such as management, marketing, accounting, economics, personnel, and finance; and the global environment in which they operate.
- Explain the basic theory of management including the functions of planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling; while considering management’s ethical and social responsibilities.
