The Electric Vehicle Technology Certificate is designed to prepare students to meet the emerging field of service and diagnosis of vehicles powered by plug-in electric/hybrid powertrain fuel cell generation. Students learn and practice on the New Swift EV trainer, equipment providing an education and understanding of how electric vehicles are constructed.

Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate the process of diagnosis, testing and repairing of electrical systems.
- Demonstrate the procedures for High-Voltage electric safety.
- Explain the responsibilities and safety requirements of the service technician.
- Demonstrate safety practices and use of equipment in automotive electrical technology.
