This program prepares students for employment as accounting clerks in private or public practices and is designed for students intending to obtain or sharpen their accounting skills. It provides general education requirements and entry level accounting courses.
NOTE: A.A.S. degrees are designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in specific occupations; they are not generally intended to transfer to four-year institutions. Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to: - Read, prepare, and analyze financial statements
- Apply financial tools and techniques to business decisions
