This program prepares students for the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and Associate General Contractors of America (ACG) Journeyman certification exams. Students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills in the methods, techniques and procedures for constructing concrete structures with tools and equipment used to place, finish and cure concrete. This prepares students for entry-level positions in the concrete industry.

Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program students will be able to:
- Demonstrate competency in the basic safety, methods and materials in residential and industrial concrete construction
- Successfully complete examination in the nationally accredited construction safety standards
- Demonstrate competency in concrete construction fundamentals, curing selection and use, and the properties of fasteners
