This program is designed for students who intend to obtain bachelor’s degrees in accounting. It provides general education requirements and basic accounting courses. Students must work closely with their transfer institutions and their SFCC advisors to ensure the best transition to four-year schools.

Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Read, prepare, and analyze financial statements.
- Describe relevant elements of the Americal legal system and their impact on business.
- Apply key economic concepts to the evaluation of relationships among individuals, businesses and government entities.
- Describe functions of management, including both fiscal and social responsibilities.
- Apply relevant technology and informational literacy to communication processes.

The combined total of Mathematics and Laboratory Science areas should equal a minimum of 10 credits
Social/Behavioral Sciences (6 Credits)
Creative and Fine Arts (3 Credits)
The combined total of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Humanities, and Creative and Fine Arts areas should equal 12 credit hours
