ISCS 115 - Introduction to Web Computing
Credits: 3
An introduction to web application development using HTML (HyperText Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), JavaScript, and server-side scripting. Topics include web application design, client-server architecture basics, and file transfer protocol (FTP) tools. Students will create responsive web applications that exhibit dynamic client-side behavior, and will also be exposed to server-side dynamics through the use of a language like PHP.
Offered: Fall and Spring.
Two lecture hours, two lab hours.
