MATT 111 - Layout and Inspection Techniques for Manufacturing
Credits: 2
Introduces layout and inspection techniques for manufacturing. Topics include marking a part for production, identifying key features such as hole centers, edges and ends of arcs, and measuring machined features on a manufactured part in order to verify conformance to quality requirements as presented on a blueprint. This course satisfies American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) requirements for machinists.
Prerequisite(s): MATT 113 and MATT 112 .

One lecture hour, two lab hours.
