The Building Environmental Technologies AAS program is designed to prepare students with the foundation needed to meet the requirements of the Building Technology Industry. The program gives the students knowledge & experience in all major categories of building maintenance. The curriculum provides students with the industry identified skill competencies for entry into the field, including communication and critical-thinking skills that support job advancement.

Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to: - Apply skills and knowledge in commercial and residential electrical equipment
- Develop and demonstrate proficiency in electrical troubleshooting techniques
- Demonstrate the procedures for constructing building frameworks, including walls, floors and door frames
- Discuss safe practices for using ladders, ladder jacks, trestles, horses, hand and power tools
- Apply nationally accredited construction safety standards
- Demonstrate proficiency installing and operating HVAC and plumbing control mechanical systems
- Articulate knowledge of basic business skills
