It provides students with general education requirements and rigorous courses in software design and programming. Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to: - Create desktop, web, and real-time applications that solve problems using programming languages, compilers, integrated development environments, and other software development tools.
- Derive mathematical algorithms for describing real-world problems, and apply the algorithms using software to solve the problems.
- Apply operating systems tools to manage information systems.
- Install, update, and configure software and hardware components.
- Identify, analyze, and apply a variety of network protocols to manage network architectures, and perform routine network administrative tasks.
- Apply software tools and best practices to secure an organization’s data.
- Apply ethical frameworks to analyze privacy, accessibility, and intellectual property issues
