ISCS 261 - Mathematical Foundations for Computer Science

[Previously offered as: MATH 261] An introduction to the formal mathematical concepts of computer science. Topics include elementary logic, proof techniques, set theory, counting and combinatorial problems, relations, deduction, induction, algorithmic processes, graph theory, cryptography, optimization, recursion, and modes of computation.

Prerequisite(s): MATH 1250  or higher.
