MATT 112 - Machine Shop Mathematics for Manufacturing
Credits: 2
Provides a review of math used in machining technology. Topics include applied algebra, geometry, trigonometry and statistics, locating features on machined components, calculating Approved American National Standard (ANSI) standard fits, calculating feeds and speeds, and calculating basic quality results. This course satisfies ANSI/NIMS requirements for machinists.
