MATT 121 - Advanced Manual Milling


Credits: 2

Addresses advanced milling techniques outlined in the ANSI/NIMS (Approved American National Standard/National Institute for Metalworking Skills) standards and gives the student additional hands-on time working with the manual mill. Topics include  indexing heads, rotary tables, precision boring, and precision feature generation and inspection. This course satisfies ANSI/NIMS requirements for machinists.

Prerequisite(s): MATT 115 .
Corequisite(s): MATT 120 .
Offered: Spring.
One lecture hour, two lab hours.
