ARTS 2812L - Silversmithing II

This course is designed as a continuation of silversmithing I (ARTS 1811L) in which students will improve their skills in the arts of sinking, repousee and forging. In addition, raising will be taught which is an advanced silversmithing technique employed for the formation of metal objects such as teapots, pitchers, vases and similar vessel forms.

May be taken twice for degree or certificate credit.
Prerequisite(s): ARTS 1811L .
Offered: Occasionally.
Six lab hours.
