CNST 1170 - Construction Methods I

[Previously offered as: BLDG 114] This course will focus on carpentry industry, skills, materials, drawings and documents. Overall safety will be addressed, including the use of hand and power tools. An applied course in foundation, footing and stem-wall construction. Other topics include cutting and assembly of structural material for floor, wall and roof systems in accordance with the International Building Code (IBC).

One lecture hour, two lab hours.
