FDMA 1465 - Women of Cinema


[Previously offered as FILM 137] A detailed study of the history of women producers and directors in the film industry. This course focuses on women directors and producers of the film industry, from early silent films to current cinema. This course explores the gender bias that has plagued the film industry since its beginning. Students delve into the work of women ground-breakers and mavericks.

Prerequisite(s): ENGL 109 .
Offered: Fall and Spring.
