MUSC 1120 - Music Appreciation: Rock and Roll

An exploration of the ideas of music in society and its cultural relevance. This course is designed to increase the students’ appreciation of music as well as to enhance their listening skills. Students are introduced to various periods, styles, and composers of music and become acquainted with knowledge and appreciation of Rock and Roll music from various cultures and times.
