ANTH 2140 - Indigenous Peoples of North America

[Previously offered as ANTH 248] This course is a general survey of the history and ethnology of indigenous groups in North America. The course is designed to give students a comprehensive view of major issues pertaining to the indigenous cultures of North America, such as family structure, social organization, subsistence and contemporary economies, environmental adaptation, indigenous relations, religious practices, and contemporary issues.

Prerequisite(s): ENGL 109 .
