PHED 2230A - Individual Sport: Intermediate Tennis
Credits: 1
Introduces the student to the game of tennis at an intermediate level. Continued practice of proper techniques and strategies associated with tennis and focus on intermediate technical skills like various grips and spins, lobs, half volleys and a number of different serves. The student should be able to demonstrate and execute the fundamentals of tennis, ground strokes, volleys, serves and knowledge of scoring the game.
Graded: Letter Grade.
Prerequisite(s): PHED 1230 .
Offered: Summer, Fall and Spring.
Two lab hours.
