EMSS 2120 - Advanced EMT Lecture
Credits: 6
[Previously offered as: EMSI 220] A course which prepares students to respond to and provide specified advanced emergency care for ill or injured patients. It includes an overview of the human body, advanced life support, airway management, trauma, medical and environmental emergencies, medical legal issues, emergency operations, intravenous therapy, vascular access, advanced pharmacology and other related topics.

Prerequisite(s): EMSS 1120 , EMSS 1120L and EMSS 1121 .
Corequisite(s): EMSS 2120L and EMSS 2121 .
