MASS 1460 - Introduction to Ortho-Bionomy, Part I

Introduces students to the foundational principles and practices of Ortho-Bionomy®, a gentle, yet profound approach to somatic education and bodywork. Emphasizing the body’s innate capacity for self-correction, the course explores key concepts such as movement away from pain, collaborating with the body and the use of positional release techniques to access self-corrective responses. Students gain hands-on experience applying Ortho-Bionomy methods to the spine while developing professional skills in communication, boundaries and ethical practices.

Graded: Letter Grade.
