MAST 2110 - Medical Office Insurance and Finance

[Previously offered as: MAST 210] The focus of this course is medical office bookkeeping procedures and processing of insurance claims. Areas covered include: banking and billing procedures, accounts receivable, collections, applying managed care and third- party guidelines, medical coding, completing insurance claim forms, utilizing and maintaining billing software.
