HVAC 1105 - Introduction to Fundamentals of Refrigeration

[Previously offered as: HVAC 111] An introduction to commercial refrigeration systems. This course will introduce students to the theory of heat, tubing and brazing, pressure/temperature/volume relationships in the refrigeration cycle, types of refrigeration systems, system components, tools and instruments, system charging, and recovering and evacuation procedures.
Graded: Letter Grade.
Corequisite(s): BLDG 111 .
