WELD 2140 - Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) II

[Previously offered as: WELD 132] Advanced course in the gas metal arc welding process (GMAW). Instruction includes trouble shooting, and the correct selection and application of consumables. Students practice GMAW of carbon and stainless steel on structural joints in all positions. Preparation of test samples will also be emphasized.
Prerequisite(s): WELD 1140 .
Offered: Spring.
Two lecture hours, four lab hours.
