Introduction to the knowledge, skills and abilities needed by compliance officers in industry, or pretreatment facility inspectors in publicly owned treatment works. Topics covered include environmental protection, inspections, report writing and data management, sampling procedures, chain of custody, flow monitoring and instrumentation. Standards and requirements of the National Pretreatment Program are emphasized.
