WATR 215 - Permits, Regulations and Water Resource Management

An overview of the permits and regulations governing the operation of water and wastewater treatment systems. The Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits, water rights, water resource management, new water sourcing, federal environmental law as well as local and regional regulations.
Prerequisite(s): WATR 111 .
