ARTS 1152L - Intaglio I

Fundamental techniques for using the unique qualities of intaglio processes to create single prints and editions that express aesthetic concerns. Students will work primarily in black and white. This course will focus on technical and aesthetic considerations of development of intaglio plates, intaglio printing and an introduction to the history of intaglio as a fine art discipline.

May be taken twice for degree or certificate credit.
Prerequisite(s): ARTS 1710 .
Offered: Occasionally.
