PHED 1290A - Pickleball Beginner Level I
Credits: 1
This introductory course is designed for students who are new to pickleball. Emphasis is placed on fundamentals skills, rules, scoring, and court awareness. Students will learn proper grip, footwork, and stroke mechanics while developing confidence through drills and modified gains. Instruction focuses on forehand and backhand groundstrokes, serving, returning, and safe play.
May be taken twice for degree or certificate credit.
Graded: Letter Grade.
Offered: Summer, Fall and Spring.
Two lab hours.
