ENVR 216 - Watershed Management
Credits: 3
A comprehensive examination of watershed management and how it protects water quality and aquatic ecosystems, prevents water pollution, decreases flood risk and minimizes other impacts related to runoff. The course introduces the methods used to balance the use of watershed resources with natural resource protections exploring technology, policies and best practices for optimum watershed management. Local watershed visits are included in the course.
