ATEC 165 - Alternative Fuel Vehicles

Credits: 3

Introductory class on basic theories in the technology used in vehicles powered by ethanol, biodiesel, hydrogen, electricity, propane and natural gas. Topics include the differences between various fuels and fuel systems, maintenance schedules and Alternative Fuel Vehicle (AFV) components.

Offered: Spring.
Two lecture hours, two lab hours.
