PHYS 1230 - Algebra-based Physics I

[Previously offered as: PHYS 121] An algebra-based treatment of Newtonian mechanics. Topics include kinematics and dynamics in one and two dimensions, conservation of energy and momentum, rotational motion, equilibrium, and fluids. ENGL 1110 may be taken concurrently with permission.
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1110 and MATH 1220 .
Corequisite(s): PHYS 1230L .
